Frequently Asked Questions
Will the tire shine sling onto the paint?
Clean and dry the surface first, apply a thin even coat, and allow it to set before driving. These steps reduce excess product that can sling from the tire.
Can I use a solvent-based dressing in the applicator?
No. The Hawk applicator is intended for water-based solutions.
Can I make the finish glossier?
Yes. Apply another light, even coat after the first coat has penetrated and set.
Installation Instructions
Shake the bottle well. Clean and dry the surface, fill the applicator with the water-based dressing, dispense a small amount, and spread it evenly. Let the product penetrate and set before driving. Add another light coat only when more gloss is desired.
