The Thermal R&D B192-C192-1 is a complete front pipe back exhaust system engineered specifically for the 2022-2025 Honda Civic Si. The system uses 2.5 inch T304 stainless steel mandrel-bent tubing throughout, replacing everything from the front pipe to the tips, increasing exhaust flow and extracting more performance from the turbocharged 1.5L engine. True Helmholtz Technology is built into the design to cancel the resonance frequencies that cause cabin drone at highway speeds, delivering a deeper, more aggressive turbo exhaust note at wide-open throttle while remaining comfortable on long drives. High-end compression clamps ensure maximum adjustability and a secure, leak-free fit. The polished stainless tips provide a clean, timeless finish. Manufactured in the USA by Thermal Research and Development with a Limited Lifetime Warranty to the original vehicle owner.

Does the B192-C192-1 fit my 2024 Honda Civic Si?
Yes. The B192-C192-1 fits all 2022-2025 Honda Civic Si models. It is Si-specific and is not a direct fit for the base, Sport, EX, or Type R trim levels.
What is the difference between the B192-C192-1 and the B192-C192-1/C?
Both are the same front pipe back system for the 2022-2025 Civic Si. The B192-C192-1 (this listing) includes polished stainless tips. The B192-C192-1/C includes the same system with black ceramic coated tips. Mechanically they are identical; only the tip finish differs.
Will there be highway drone?
No. True Helmholtz Technology cancels the resonance frequencies that cause drone at highway cruising speeds. Owners report a noticeably deeper, more aggressive turbo exhaust note at wide-open throttle with zero drone during normal highway driving.
Does this system replace the catalytic converter?
No. This is a front pipe back system that retains the OEM catalytic converter and connects downstream of it. Emissions compliance is maintained and no check engine light should result from a proper installation on a stock Civic Si.
Does installation require cutting or welding?
No. The B192-C192-1 is a bolt-on system using high-end compression clamps. All necessary hardware is included. No cutting, welding, or drilling is required.
How does the Civic Si front pipe back system differ from the catback?
A front pipe back system replaces more of the exhaust than a catback, extending forward from the catalytic converter outlet all the way back to the tips. This provides greater flow improvement and a more significant sound change compared to a catback-only system that starts at the muffler.
Are the polished tips prone to discoloration?
Polished stainless tips may develop some heat-related bluing or oxidation near the tip end over time, which is normal for stainless steel. Regular cleaning with a stainless steel polish maintains the appearance. If you prefer a finish that is more resistant to heat discoloration, consider the B192-C192-1/C with black ceramic coated tips.
What warranty does this exhaust carry?
Thermal R&D covers this system with a Limited Lifetime Warranty to the original vehicle owner, non-transferable. The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship and does not extend to racing, commercial use, or improper installation. Manufactured in Lancaster, California.
Does installing this exhaust affect the Civic Si's factory warranty?
Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a manufacturer cannot void your vehicle warranty solely because you installed an aftermarket exhaust. A dealer must demonstrate that the aftermarket part caused the specific failure before denying coverage.
Allow the vehicle exhaust to cool fully before beginning. Raise the vehicle safely on jack stands with adequate clearance. Working from rear to front, unclip the OEM hanger isolators and loosen all factory exhaust clamps. Disconnect the front pipe at the catalytic converter outlet connection and remove the factory front pipe back system. Install the B192-C192-1 front pipe section first, connecting at the catalytic converter outlet and leaving compression clamps loose. Route the rear sections into the OEM hanger locations, positioning the polished tipped outlet for proper centering within the rear bumper. Tighten all compression clamps to specification, start the vehicle, and check all joints for leaks before returning the vehicle to service.
