Will the 23009-2 fit my 991.2 Carrera with the facelift?Yes. The H&R 23009-2 is compatible with both 991.1 (2012-2016) and 991.2 facelift (2017-2019) Porsche 911 Carrera and Carrera S 2WD models. Always verify your specific configuration against the fitment notes before ordering.
Can I install H&R 23009-2 springs if my 911 has front axle lift? No. The HRS23009-2 is not compatible with Porsche 911 models equipped with the front end or front axle lift system. H&R offers separate spring kits for lift-equipped vehicles.
What is the difference between H&R Sport Springs and H&R VTF springs for the 991?H&R Sport Springs offer a fixed lowering amount at a lower price. The H&R 23009-2 VTF springs are adjustable, allowing you to dial in any ride height within the tested lowering range without swapping springs. VTF is the preferred choice if you want flexibility to adjust stance over time.
Does the H&R 23009-2 fit the Porsche 911 Targa and Cabriolet?Yes. The 23009-2 is listed as compatible with Coupe, Targa, and Cabriolet body styles of the 2012-2019 Porsche 911 Carrera and Carrera S 2WD.
How does lowering vary between the 991 Carrera 3.4 and the Carrera S 3.8?Actual ride height reduction varies by engine size, battery package, and model options as noted in H&R fitment documentation. The 15-35mm front and 20-40mm rear figures represent the full tested adjustment range. Your specific configuration may land at a different point within that range.
Is the H&R 23009-2 TUV approved?Yes. The HRS23009-2 carries TUV approval, confirming it has been independently tested and certified for use on Porsche 911 991 applications within the specified lowering range.
Do the H&R 23009-2 VTF springs require an alignment after installation?Yes. Any change in ride height will alter alignment angles. A full four-wheel alignment is required after installing the HRS23009-2 springs to restore geometry to within factory or preferred performance specifications.
