The ICON is a front coilover kit engineered specifically for the 2021-2025 Ford F-150 Raptor, combining ICON's 3.0 Series aluminum remote reservoir shock body with Compression Damping Electronic Valves for active, on-the-fly damping adjustment.
The kit delivers 1 to 3 inches of front lift and is built to handle the Raptor's factory high-speed desert running expectations while giving the driver real control over compression damping from the cab. The Gen 3 Raptor's front end geometry required a purpose-built coilover redesign compared to the previous generation, and ICON developed the ICO95003 from the ground up to be fully compatible with the newer chassis architecture. Every unit is valved and assembled in-house at ICON's Southern California facility.

ICON Vehicle Dynamics is a Southern California-based suspension manufacturer specializing in high-performance shock absorbers, coilover systems, and lift kits for trucks, SUVs, and off-road vehicles. Every ICON shock is valved, assembled, and quality-checked in-house, giving the company direct control over the performance characteristics dialed into each application-specific kit.
What is the ICO95003?
The ICO95003 is an ICON Vehicle Dynamics front 3.0 Series coilover kit with remote reservoir and Compression Damping Electronic Valves designed for the 2021-2025 Ford F-150 Raptor. It provides 1 to 3 inches of front lift and allows the driver to electronically adjust compression damping from inside the cab.
What does CDEV mean and how does it work?
CDEV stands for Compression Damping Electronic Valve. It is an electronically actuated valve integrated into the shock body that adjusts compression damping stiffness at the push of a button. The driver can select softer settings for highway driving and stiffer settings for trail or high-speed off-road use without stopping or manually adjusting the shock. A compatible digital controller is required for full CDEV functionality.
Does this kit fit the Gen 1 or Gen 2 Ford Raptor?
No. The ICO95003 is designed specifically for the Gen 3 F-150 Raptor (2021-2025). The Gen 3 chassis uses a revised front end geometry compared to the 2017-2020 Gen 2 and 2010-2014 Gen 1 models. Do not attempt to fit this kit to an earlier-generation Raptor without consulting ICON directly.
Is a digital controller included with this kit?
No. The CDEV-equipped coilovers require ICON's compatible digital damping controller, sold separately. The shocks will install and function without the controller, but CDEV adjustment capability will not be accessible until the controller is connected.
How much lift does this kit provide?
This kit is adjustable in the 1-to-3-inch front lift range. Actual ride height change depends on the spring preload adjustment set at installation. Consult the included ICON instructions or your installer for the recommended preload setting for your specific use case.
Do I need an alignment after installing this kit?
Yes. Any suspension modification that changes ride height will affect camber and caster angles. A full front alignment is required after installing this kit to ensure proper tire wear, straight tracking, and safe handling. ICON recommends a professional alignment on a Hunter or equivalent alignment rack with the vehicle at corner-balanced ride height.
Does this kit require professional installation?
Professional installation is strongly recommended. Coilover installation requires a spring compressor, torque wrench, and the ability to safely support the vehicle while the front suspension is disassembled. Improper installation can result in component failure, suspension geometry issues, or loss of vehicle control. Always follow ICON's included installation instructions and torque specifications.
Is the ICO95003 compatible with the factory skid plates and bash bars on the Gen 3 Raptor?
In most cases yes, but verify fitment against your specific build before ordering. Aftermarket bumpers, bash bars, or non-factory accessories that modify the front end geometry or clearance envelope may interfere with coilover installation. Contact ICON directly if you have a heavily modified front end configuration.
