The K&N 69-6000TP Typhoon air intake system replaces the factory air filter and housing on 1999-2005 Mazda Miata models with a mandrel-bent polished aluminum tube that reduces airflow restriction. This design smooths and straightens incoming air for more volume reaching the engine delivering noticeable power gains and quicker throttle response across the RPM range. A high-flow conical air filter directs clean air straight to the throttle body while accommodating the mass air flow sensor air temperature sensor and crankcase vent hose.
