Installation Instructions
- Open the hood and locate the factory air box on the 5.4L supercharged engine. The air box is mounted on the driver side of the engine bay
- Release the air box lid clamps or screws and lift the lid to expose the factory paper air filter
- Remove the factory paper air filter and discard
- Inspect the inside of the air box for debris. Remove any dirt, leaves, or material before installing the K&N 33-2140-1
- Place the 33-2140-1 into the air box with the clean (inner) side facing down and the dirty (outer cotton gauze) side facing up toward the incoming air flow
- Seat the filter fully in the air box recess. Close the air box lid and secure all clamps or screws
- Start the engine and verify normal operation
