Install Instructions
- Raise and safely support the front of the vehicle, then remove the wheel
- Compress the coil spring using an approved spring compressor and safety procedure
- Remove the upper strut mount retaining nut and separate the strut assembly
- Remove the worn mount, bearing, and upper spring seat
- Install the new SM5954 mount, bearing, and spring seat in the correct orientation
- Reassemble the strut and torque the retaining nut to factory specification
- Reinstall the wheel, lower the vehicle, and perform a wheel alignment
