Installation Instructions

1. Safely lift and support the vehicle on a lift or jack stands. Allow the factory exhaust to cool fully.
2. Apply penetrating oil to all factory cat-back bolts, clamps, and exhaust hanger connections. Allow to soak before attempting removal.
3. Loosen and remove the factory clamp or flange bolts at the catalytic converter outlet connection.
4. Disconnect the factory muffler and exhaust pipe from all rubber isolator hangers and remove as a unit.
5. Install the S5281BLK front pipe section first, connecting at the catalytic converter outlet flange using the supplied gasket and hardware. Hand-tighten only.
6. Connect the muffler section to the front pipe. Hang all sections on the factory rubber isolators.
7. Route the single side exit tip through or past the rear bumper as designed, ensuring no contact with the bumper or body panels.
8. With the system hanging freely and correctly positioned, tighten all clamps and flange hardware to the specifications in the included instructions.
