Short Hub for S Chassis and Skyline Columns With SRS Wiring
Swapping to an aftermarket wheel on an airbag equipped S14 leaves the SRS circuit open and the warning light on. The NRG SRK-145H short hub is cut for the S chassis and Skyline spline and ships with the resistors that keep that circuit satisfied. The anodized 6061 aluminum body uses a 6x70mm bolt circle and the shortest practical mounting depth, so a lockable NRG quick release still leaves a comfortable reach. NRG also lists Cedric, Laurel, and Cima applications that share this steering shaft spline.

Why does this hub include resistors?Removing an airbag equipped wheel opens the SRS circuit. The supplied resistors take the place of that load so the system reads a normal resistance.
Which wheels bolt to it?Any 6x70mm wheel, which covers NRG, MOMO, OMP, and Sparco style patterns. Nardi and Personal wheels use 6x74mm and need an adapter.
Does it work with every NRG quick release?It pairs with the standard quick release range but not with the thin version.
Does the horn still function?Yes. The hub keeps the factory horn contact and turn signal cancellation.
What is the body made from?It is machined from 6061 aircraft grade aluminum and anodized black.
Will it fit a car without an airbag?It mounts on the same spline, and on a column with no SRS circuit the supplied resistors simply are not needed.
Are steering wheel bolts supplied?Wheels normally include their own six bolt hardware, so use the fasteners supplied with the wheel.

Installation Instructions
- Disconnect the battery and allow the SRS system to fully discharge before working on the column.
- Remove the factory steering wheel and airbag assembly using the vehicle service procedure.
- Fit the supplied resistors into the SRS connector so the circuit reads a normal load.
- Center the road wheels, slide the hub onto the spline, and torque the retaining nut to the vehicle specification.
- Connect the horn lead, then bolt the wheel or quick release to the 6x70mm face.
- Reconnect the battery and check the warning lights, horn, and full lock to lock travel before driving.
