The factory 350Z uses one LH and one RH output shaft. To install the NS111-HA, the RH shaft must be replaced with a second LH shaft (Nissan PN 38220-AR011 for 350Z). Will the OS Giken NS111-HA work with an automatic transmission 350Z?No. The OSGNS111-HA is designed for manual transmission Nissan 350Z and 370Z only. What is the difference between a 1-way and 1.5-way ramp on the NS111-HA?The OSGNS111-HA uses 25/38 ramps making it a 1.5-way LSD. A 1-way unit only locks under acceleration. A 1.5-way unit locks under acceleration (25 degree ramp) and provides partial locking under deceleration (38 degree ramp).
