- Loosen the wheel lug nuts, raise the vehicle, and secure it on jack stands
- Remove the wheel and locate the brake caliper
- Remove the caliper bolts and slide the caliper off the rotor
- Remove the worn brake pads and hardware
- Compress the caliper piston to make room for the new, thicker pads
- Install the new pads and hardware, then reinstall the caliper and torque the bolts to spec
- Repeat on the opposite side, then pump the brake pedal to seat the pads before driving
- Bed in the new pads following the manufacturer's break in procedure
