Installation Instructions

1. Safely raise the vehicle on jack stands and remove the rear wheels.
2. Remove the rear brake caliper by unbolting the caliper mounting bolts. Hang from a hook without stressing the brake line.
3. Remove the old brake pads and all old hardware from the caliper carrier.
4. Clean the caliper carrier and bracket contact surfaces thoroughly with brake cleaner.
5. Install the new stainless steel hardware from the 16-2037 kit into the caliper carrier.
6. Apply a thin layer of brake lubricant to the pad contact points on the new hardware. Do not apply to the pad friction surface.
7. Install the new Z16 ceramic pads into the caliper carrier.
