Installation Instructions

1. Loosen the rear wheel lug nuts slightly before raising the vehicle.
2. Raise the vehicle safely on jack stands and remove the rear wheels.
3. Remove the brake caliper mounting bolts and hang the caliper with a wire hook. Do not allow the caliper to hang by the brake hose.
4. Compress the rear caliper piston fully using a caliper wind-back tool (rear pistons typically require rotating while pressing).
5. Remove the caliper bracket and set aside.
6. Slide the old rotor off the hub. If seized, use a hub puller or carefully strike the rotor hat with a rubber mallet.
7. Clean the hub face with a wire brush and apply anti-seize to the hub flange.
8. Slide the new CRK206 GEOMET coated rotor onto the hub and secure temporarily with a lug nut.
9. Apply the included ceramic brake lubricant to the caliper bracket contact points. Do not apply lubricant to the rotor face or pad friction material.
10. Install the new Z17 Evolution ceramic pads into the caliper bracket using the included stainless-steel hardware and abutment clips.
11. Reinstall the caliper bracket and torque mounting bolts to OEM specification.
12. Reinstall the caliper and torque slide pin bolts to OEM specification.
13. Reinstall the wheel and torque lug nuts in a star pattern to OEM specification.
14. Pump the brake pedal firmly several times until a firm pedal is felt before moving the vehicle.
15. Perform a light bedding procedure: accelerate to 35 mph, apply moderate brake pressure to slow to 5 mph (do not stop completely). Repeat 5 times, allowing cooling between each run.
