The QA1 52919 drag race front lower control arm kit is designed for 1967-1969 GM F-Body and 1968-1974 GM X-Body applications. Its low-friction components support bind-free suspension movement during launch, helping promote consistent front-end rise and weight transfer when used with a compatible coil-over suspension.
The 52919 kit is vehicle-specific and is listed for the following applications. A compatible coil-over suspension is required.
| Years | Make | Model | Application | Restrictions |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1967-1969 | Chevrolet | Camaro | Front lower control arm kit | Requires coil-over suspension. Factory-style coil springs are not compatible. Install the included spherical bearing mounts. |
| 1967-1969 | Pontiac | Firebird | Front lower control arm kit | Requires coil-over suspension. Factory-style coil springs are not compatible. Install the included spherical bearing mounts. |
| 1968-1974 | GM | X-Body | Front lower control arm kit | Requires coil-over suspension. Factory-style coil springs are not compatible. Install the included spherical bearing mounts. |

QA1 develops suspension components for street performance, drag racing, autocross, and track use. The QA1 52919 kit combines lightweight materials, low-friction joints, adjustable control, and durable fabrication for compatible GM applications.
It is a vehicle-specific drag race front lower control arm kit for 1967-1969 GM F-Body and 1968-1974 GM X-Body applications.
What suspension is required? The kit requires a compatible coil-over suspension and will not work with a factory-style coil spring.
Does the kit include ball-joint components?Yes. It includes integrated low-friction ball joints along with spherical bearing mounts and a spherical bearing kit.
What type of mounting is supported? The control arms are configured for QA1 Pro Coil Systems with double-shear lower mounting.
Can the front-end rise be adjusted? Each control arm has an adjustable steering-stop bolt that can be set with the supplied 3/8-inch washers.
Where does the supplied bump stop go?On 1967-1969 Camaro and Firebird applications, install the supplied bump stop in the factory bump-stop location on either the front or rear of the control arm.
What alignment settings are recommended? When both QA1 upper and lower control arms are installed, the guidance for 1967-1974 F-Body and X-Body applications is 0.5 degrees plus or minus 0.5 degrees negative camber, 3-5 degrees positive caster, plus or minus 0.5 degrees cross-caster, and 0.1-0.3 degrees toe-in.
How often should ball-joint preload be checked?Check and set ball-joint preload at least annually or every 3,000 miles, whichever comes first.
