Usage Instructions
- Remove the black set screws from each side of the joint housing, applying heat if needed to release thread locker
- Insert the tool into the retainer ring and unthread both retainers
- Remove the old bushing raceways and ball, then clean and inspect all components
- Apply thread locker to the new retainer and thread it back into the housing until flush
- Press in the new raceway, ball, and remaining raceway per the joint rebuild instructions
- Use the tool with a torque wrench to tighten both retainers evenly to the specified torque
- Apply thread locker to the set screws and torque to the specified in lb value
- Verify the joint moves freely but shows no side to side play once assembly is complete
