Balance custom suspension travel without trail-side disconnects
RockJock CE-9902A-18 gives a fabricator the core components for a connected off-road sway bar system. Its heat-treated chromoly bar and billet arms are intended to balance suspension movement for more consistent traction while leaving final placement, link length, and clearances to the engineered custom installation.
Key Features
- 45-inch-long, 0.800-inch-diameter 4340 heat-treated chromoly sway bar
- Pair of 18-inch billet aluminum sway bar arms
- Adjustable end links with long threaded rods that may be trimmed for the application
- UHMW sway bar bushings and weld-on axle tabs
- Universal fabricator configuration for custom rigs and rock buggies
- Designed to remain connected during off-road suspension articulation

FAQ
What is the CE-9902A-18?It is a universal fabrication Antirock sway bar kit with a 45-inch chromoly bar and 18-inch billet aluminum arms.
Is this a bolt-in vehicle-specific kit?No. It is a completely universal fabricator kit that requires welding, custom placement, clearance checks, and application-specific link setup.
What are the sway bar dimensions? The heat-treated 4340 chromoly sway bar is 45 inches long and 0.800 inch in diameter.
What mounting tube is included? The kit includes a 43-inch-long mounting tube measuring 1.75 inches outside diameter with a 0.095-inch wall.
Which arms are included? The package uses a pair of 18-inch billet aluminum Antirock sway bar arms.
Can the end links be shortened?RockJock specifies long threaded link rods that may be trimmed by a qualified fabricator to suit the engineered installation.
Does an Antirock sway bar need to be disconnected off road? No. The system is designed to remain connected while balancing front and rear suspension movement off road.
Will handling match a factory sway bar?No. RockJock warns that an Antirock-equipped vehicle has more body roll and does not provide the same handling characteristics as a factory sway bar.
Is a welder included? No. The components needed for the kit are listed below, but welding equipment, fabrication tools, and application-specific chassis work are not included.
Installation Instructions
- Measure the chassis and axle through full compression, droop, and steering travel to establish bar, tube, arm, link, tire, driveline, exhaust, hose, and wiring clearances.
- Verify the package label and manufacturer part number CE-9902A-18 before cutting or welding any component.
- Have a qualified fabricator establish the mounting-tube position, axle-tab location, arm sweep, link angle, and structural reinforcement for the intended vehicle weight and use.
- Trim and position the mounting tube only after confirming the sway bar can remain centered and serviceable without binding.
- Weld the mounting structure and axle tabs using procedures appropriate for the chassis and axle materials, protecting nearby bearings, seals, hoses, wiring, and finishes.
- Install the UHMW bushings, chromoly bar, billet arms, adjustable links, and supplied hardware according to the current RockJock instructions.
- Trim the long threaded link rods only when required, maintaining adequate thread engagement and equal left-to-right geometry.
- Cycle the complete suspension and steering with the springs or shocks safely unloaded as appropriate, then correct every contact, bind, over-center condition, and hose or wiring risk.
- Tighten hardware to the applicable specifications, confirm the expected increase in body roll, and reinspect the system after the initial service interval.
