Installation Instructions
- Confirm the design requires the published pivot-ball width, bore, barrel size, and articulation.
- Verify the package label before fabrication begins.
- Engineer the bracket spacing, link geometry, material grade, wall thickness, joint orientation, fastener, and clearances for the expected loads.
- Remove the serviceable internals before welding.
- Prepare and weld the outer barrel using a qualified procedure for the selected link material.
- Allow the assembly to cool naturally and inspect the weld, barrel, retaining groove, and grease passage.
- Lubricate and reassemble the pivot ball, bushings, washers, and snap ring with the applicable service tool.
- Install the fabricated link with engineered hardware and verify unrestricted articulation and clearance.
- Lubricate with a hand-pump grease gun and stop before excess pressure can damage the joint.
