Installation Overview

1. Chock the rear wheels, engage the parking brake, and center the steering wheel.
2. Remove the factory steering stabilizer from its mounting points.
3. Press greased hourglass bushings into both Black MAX cylinder body eyes.
4. Mount the center axle bracket to the front axle housing with the supplied U-bolts. Do not fully tighten.
5. Install the passenger-side tie rod bracket on top of the tie rod. Secure with U-bolts.
6. Repeat for the driver-side tie rod bracket.
7. Install washers and poly stem bushings on each stabilizer shaft end and attach to the tie rod brackets. Tighten until the bushing swell begins.
8. Extend each stabilizer to half travel. Torque center axle U-bolts to 30 ft-lbs and tie rod bracket U-bolts to 240 in-lbs.
9. Cycle steering lock to lock. Confirm clearance and no binding. After the first 100 miles, re-check all hardware torque.
