Install Instructions

1. Place the vehicle on a level surface and raise the front end, supporting it on jack stands.
2. Ensure the front suspension is fully unloaded before working near the torsion bar crossmember.
3. Mark the exposed length of the torsion bar adjuster bolt for reference, then relieve torsion bar preload with a torsion bar tool.
4. Remove the adjuster bolt and nut block, then slide the torsion bar out and remove the factory key.
5. Install the Skyjacker torsion key in the same orientation as the factory key, then reinsert the torsion bar.
6. Reload the torsion bar, reinstall the nut block and adjuster bolt to the noted exposed length.
7. Reinstall the factory shocks using the included extension brackets to maintain proper geometry.
8. Lower the vehicle, measure ride height, and fine-tune the adjuster bolt as needed before scheduling a professional alignment.
