Description
The Snow Performance Stage 3 Boost Cooler? brings true 2D mapped water-methanol injection delivery to your DI (direct fuel injected) and forced induction (turbocharged/supercharged) vehicle. The Stage 3 creates a 2D injection map based off boost and fuel pressure sensor input to deliver a extremely accurate amount of water-methanol when the engine needs it most. Bringing fuel pressure into the mix allows the injection curve to be extended past specific boost points for greater range/control. None invasive, the Stage 3 Boost Cooler? controller is designed to mount on the steering column or the dash so no additional gauge pods need to be purchased and functions as a boost gauge, water-meth controller and fuel system monitor all in one! Proven to reduce the air inlet temperature by up to 100 degrees and increase octane by 25 points for maximum HP and cooling . Comes with adjustable Stage 3 water-meth controller, 4AN fittings, and stainless steel braided line to mount pump/tank in engine bay of vehicle. The Boost Cooler Water Injection kit enables active cooling of the combustion process, allowing for increased boost pressure and ignition timing without exposing the engine to higher thermal loads. Key benefits include:

Optimal Cooling with Boost Cooler

The Boost Cooler injection system operates through three main processes:

  1. Water droplets absorb heat from the intake air before reaching the cylinder head, effectively cooling it.
  2. The evaporation of water droplets further cools the intake air charge—by up to 60°C and more!
  3. Steam produced in the combustion chamber acts as an anti-detonant, preventing carbon build-up and excessive heat.


Chemical Intercooling with Water Injection

Unlike conventional intercoolers, water injection can lower intake air temperatures below ambient levels, providing:

  • No boost pressure loss—unlike traditional performance intercoolers
  • Significantly colder IATs
  • Increased octane levels, allowing for performance upgrades of up to 20%

For already tuned engines, the Boost Cooler Water Injection system reduces thermal load and prevents knocking. When using a 50/50 water-alcohol mix:

  • Fuel octane increases by approximately 20-25 points
  • Transforms regular 95 octane pump gas into 116 Race Gas Quality fuel

The Boost Cooler system is compatible with NOS, LPG/Autogas, and bioethanol (E85) applications.
