Solo Performance Mach-XF Exhaust Kit w/ Standard Dual Outlet Tips Chevrolet SS 2014-2018
All of us at Solo Performance are excited to bring our MACH-XF and MACH-BALANCED-XF series converter back (cat-back) stainless steel, dual exhaust kits to the Chevy SS community. These no drone exhaust kits offer a deep, raw, rich and smooth exhaust note on the outside and are non-invasive on the inside. These are "Sound on Demand" exhaust systems that produce the sound you want when accelerating or revving but become incredibly quiet at cruise speeds.
Solo has replaced that annoying cruise speed cabin drone with a comfortable, quiet exhaust note through advanced technology and a painstaking R&D process. Our MACH-XF-Balanced exhaust kits have a balance pipe welded in before the muffler. This equalizes the cylinder pressure and slightly softens and smoothes the exhaust note for the discerning customers. We have our MACH-XF muffler measuring 14" long as compared to our louder 11" long MACH-SHORTY-XF. The longer 14" muffler is quieter than the shorter 11" muffler by several notches. We have also incorporated flex pipes in the midsections for vibration and sound control.
The tailpipe assembly comes with Solo's tunable J-Pipes. These J-pipes are capped off on the end, and as the sound waves enter the J-pipe they bottom out on the end cap and bounce back. Upon the sound wave re-entering the exhaust flow, it collides with the specific Chevy SS drone frequency and cancels it out. Since all Chevy SS engine harmonics are not exactly the same, we have made a slider end cap (just loosen the band clamp and slide the piece longer or shorter) so that you can fine tune the exhaust note if necessary. Exhaust Tips come in your standard T-304 Stainless steel dual outlet 3" or your larger dual outlet 3½"... Each tip is staggered to fit the contour of the bumper and is slash cut with inner bevel for that "extra body" look.
