Solo Performance Street-Race-XF Exhaust Kit w/ Standard Tips Chevrolet SS 2014-2018
This is our loudest 2 ½" exhaust kit for the Chevy SS. All of us at Solo Performance are excited to bring our Street-Race XF series converter back (cat-back) stainless steel, mandrel bent, dual exhaust kit to the Chevy SS community. These no drone exhaust kits offer a deep, raw, rich and smooth exhaust note on the outside and are non-invasive on the inside. These are "Sound on Demand" exhaust systems that produce the sound you want when accelerating or revving but become quiet at cruise speeds. The Street Race is the loudest Solo kit for the Chevy SS as it has an X-Pipe and no muffler.
Solo has replaced that annoying cruise speed cabin drone with a comfortable, exhaust note through advanced technology and a painstaking R&D process. Our STREET-RACE-XF has no muffler and is louder than the Mach and Mach Shorty. We have also incorporated flex pipes in the midsections for vibration and sound control.
The tailpipe assembly comes with Solo's tunable J-Pipes. These J-pipes are capped off on the end, and as the sound waves enter the J-pipe they bottom out on the end cap and bounce back. Upon the sound wave re-entering the exhaust flow, it collides with the specific Chevy SS drone requency and cancels it out. Since all Chevy SS engine harmonics are not exactly the same, we have made a slider end cap (just loosen the band clamp and slide the piece longer or shorter) so that you can fine tune the exhaust note if necessary. Tomorrow's technology on today's Chevy SS.
Exhaust Tips come in your standard T-304 Stainless steel dual outlet 3" or your larger dual outlet 3½"... Each tip is staggered to fit the contour of the bumper and is slash cut with inner bevel for that "extra body" look.
The Chevy SS is loaded with special features. Complete the look and sound with one of Solo Performance's STREET-RACE-XF series cat-back exhaust.
