Installation Instructions
- Disconnect the negative battery cable before beginning
- Remove the factory air box lid and filter
- Loosen the intake tube clamp at the throttle body and disconnect the MAF sensor harness
- Remove the factory air box and all attached intake tubing
- Mount the Spectre heat shield in the vacated factory air box location
- Route and connect the new clear-anodized aluminum tube from the heat shield to the throttle body
- Plug the MAF sensor into the appropriate port on the new tube and reconnect the wiring harness
- Connect all breather hoses to their respective ports on the new tube
- Install the Spectre HPR red filter on the filter inlet and tighten the clamp
- Reconnect the battery, start the engine, and verify there are no air leaks
