Installation Instructions
- Disconnect the negative battery cable
- Remove the factory air box lid and filter
- Disconnect the MAF sensor, crankcase breather hoses, and loosen the throttle body clamp
- Remove the factory air box and intake assembly
- Mount the Spectre heat shield in the factory air box location
- Connect the new polished aluminum tube from the heat shield to the throttle body
- Reconnect the MAF sensor harness and breather hoses to their ports on the new tube
- Attach the Spectre HPR filter and secure all clamps
- Reconnect the battery, start the engine, and verify no air leaks
