Installation Overview
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal for safety.
- Remove the factory airbox lid, filter, and intake duct from the 6.2L engine bay.
- Unplug the MAF sensor connector and remove the factory intake tube.
- Unbolt and remove the factory airbox base.
- Mount the Spectre 9061 heat shield using the supplied hardware.
- Install the new aluminum intake tube, positioning it toward the throttle body.
- Reconnect the MAF sensor to the new tube's mounting provision.
- Attach silicone couplers and clamps at both the throttle body and filter ends.
- Install the HPR conical filter onto the tube and tighten the clamp.
- Route and reconnect all vacuum lines and breather hoses per the included diagram.
- Torque all clamps and hardware to spec, then reconnect the battery and start the engine.
