The SPL FUA R35 Front Upper Camber/Caster Arms are engineered for the 2008+ Nissan GT-R R35, providing simultaneous camber and caster adjustment without disconnecting the arm from the chassis. Dual chassis-mount Double Adjusters replace traditional jam nuts with a slotted hex-cap system: turn the adjuster to set arm length, then lock alignment settings with a simple allen wrench. The result is faster, more repeatable alignment changes on the track or in the shop. An encapsulated FK Spherical Bearing at the upright mount provides exceptional strength and eliminates the rod-end bending risk found in single-pivot designs. Whether you are correcting camber on a lowered street R35 or chasing maximum front grip on circuit, SPL FUA R35 delivers the precision and range required.

What camber and caster range does the SPL FUA R35 provide on a 2008+ Nissan GT-R?
On a test GT-R lowered 1 inch, the SPL FUA R35 achieved a range from 0 degrees camber (5.8 degrees caster) to -5 degrees camber (5.9 degrees caster). At -4 degrees camber, up to 8 degrees caster is possible; at -3.5 degrees camber, up to 7.7 degrees caster is achievable.
Can I adjust camber and caster independently?
Yes. The SPL FUA R35 dual-adjuster design allows each adjuster to be lengthened or shortened independently. Changing both equally adjusts camber; changing only one side changes caster without removing the arm from the vehicle.
Is the SPL FUA R35 street-legal and safe for daily driving?
Yes. The Teflon-lined FK Spherical Bearings are self-lubricating and self-cleaning, rated from -65 to 325 degrees F, and engineered for combined street and track use. After installation and alignment, the SPL FUA R35 is fully suitable for daily-driven R35 GT-Rs.
Does installing aftermarket suspension void my Nissan GT-R warranty?
Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a dealer cannot void your vehicle warranty simply because you installed an aftermarket part. The dealer must demonstrate that the aftermarket part directly caused the failure in question. Installing the SPL FUA R35 does not automatically void unrelated warranty coverage on your GT-R.
Do I need an alignment after installing the SPL FUA R35?
Yes. A professional four-wheel alignment is required after installation to dial in camber and caster to your target specification. Bring the SPL installation instructions to the alignment shop.
Will the SPL FUA R35 fit xDrive or AWD variants of the R35 GT-R?
The R35 GT-R is AWD from the factory, and the SPL FUA R35 is specifically designed for the R35 platform. It is compatible with all GT-R trims from 2008 onward, including Premium, Nismo, Black Edition, Track Edition, Pure, and 50th Anniversary Edition.
What is the rod end replacement procedure?
SPL Parts offers replacement FK rod ends separately. Contact SPL Parts at tech@splparts.com or 512-691-9002 for replacement rod end part numbers compatible with the SPL FUA R35.
Do these arms require any drilling or modification to the chassis?
No. The SPL FUA R35 bolts directly into the OEM upper control arm mounting locations on the 2008+ Nissan GT-R. No drilling, welding, or chassis modification is required.

Control arms are the key suspension linkages that connect the wheel hub and knuckle assembly to the vehicle frame, controlling wheel travel through both compression and droop cycles. Worn OEM control arms with loose ball joints or deteriorated bushings cause vague steering, tire wear, and handling inconsistency that only go away with replacement or upgrade.Popular UpgradesTubular steel upper control arms for lifted trucks and SUVs are the most popular upgrade in the control arm category, correcting the geometry compromised by a suspension lift and restoring proper caster angle and ball joint centering. Adjustable upper control arms allow alignment angles like caster and camber to be dialed in precisely after a lift or lowering modification. Replacement lower control arms with polyurethane or solid aluminum bushings improve response and longevity compared to worn OEM rubber mounts. Why do I need new control arms after a lift kit?A suspension lift changes the angle at which the OEM upp...

Aftermarket suspension systems improve handling, ride quality, and ride height adjustment beyond what the factory suspension provides. From lowering springs and coilover kits for sport handling to lift kits and leveling kits for truck and SUV off-road capability, quality suspension components transform how a vehicle rides and handles. Popular Suspension Upgrades Popular suspension upgrades include coilover kits for adjustable ride height and damping, sport lowering springs for improved handling and reduced body roll, performance shock absorbers and strut assemblies, sway bar and end link upgrade kits, subframe brace kits, and complete suspension packages for lifted trucks and off-road SUVs. Alignment kits including camber bolts and camber arms are also frequently ordered after ride height changes. What is the difference between coilovers and lowering springs?
