The SPL RTAEL FRS Rear Toe Arms with Eccentric Lockout Kit deliver motorsport-grade alignment control to the Subaru BRZ, Scion FR-S, Toyota 86, GR86, Subaru WRX, and WRX STI. Factory rear toe eccentrics slip under hard cornering, causing alignment drift and inconsistent handling. The SPL RTAEL FRS replaces the OEM eccentric bolt system with precision CNC-machined aluminum lockout plates and a length-adjustable arm, giving you a locked, repeatable rear toe setting for street use, autocross, or dedicated track days. At 2.63 lbs (1.19 kg) per arm, the SPL RTAEL FRS is 18% lighter than the OEM arm while offering a far greater adjustment range.

Why do I need the SPL RTAEL FRS instead of just adjustable toe arms?
The SPL RTAEL FRS bundles the adjustable toe arm with the eccentric lockout kit. The OEM eccentric bolt is known to slip under hard cornering loads, moving your toe setting even after a fresh alignment. The lockout kit eliminates that variable entirely so your alignment stays exactly where you set it.
Will these arms work on a stock-height vehicle?
Yes. While the SPL RTAEL FRS is especially useful on lowered cars that need extended adjustment range to bring toe back into spec, the eccentric lockout function benefits any driver who wants a stable, repeatable rear alignment at any ride height.
Do the PTFE-lined FK bearings add noise to the cabin?
FK bearings with Teflon liners are engineered for quiet operation. The self-lubricating liner minimizes friction and eliminates the creaking associated with dry metal rod ends. Most users report no noticeable NVH increase over OEM bushings.
What tools are needed to install the SPL RTAEL FRS?
You will need a 3/16" Allen key for the clamp screws, a 17 mm socket for the hub-side fastener, a 19 mm and 22 mm socket/wrench set for the subframe hardware, and a torque wrench. A jack stand to support the hub during installation is also recommended.
What are the torque specs for installation?
Torque the subframe-side bolt and nut to 74 ft-lbs. Torque the hub-side nut to 44 ft-lbs. Tighten the 1/4"-20 clamp screws to a maximum of 150 in-lbs. Do not exceed this value.
How do I adjust toe after installation?
Loosen the 1/4"-20 titanium clamp screws, rotate the center arm clockwise to increase toe-in or counterclockwise to increase toe-out, then re-tighten the clamps in sequence working from the outside inward. A professional alignment is recommended after any adjustment.
Will installing these arms void my vehicle warranty?
Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a vehicle manufacturer or dealer cannot void your factory warranty simply because you installed an aftermarket part unless they can demonstrate that the part caused the failure in question. Consult your dealer for specifics on your individual warranty coverage.
Are the SPL RTAEL FRS arms compatible with coilovers and aftermarket springs?
Yes. The extended adjustment range of the SPL RTAEL FRS makes it particularly well suited for use with coilovers and lowering springs, which often push the rear toe outside the OEM eccentric adjustment limit.

Control arms are the key suspension linkages that connect the wheel hub and knuckle assembly to the vehicle frame, controlling wheel travel through both compression and droop cycles. Worn OEM control arms with loose ball joints or deteriorated bushings cause vague steering, tire wear, and handling inconsistency that only go away with replacement or upgrade.Popular UpgradesTubular steel upper control arms for lifted trucks and SUVs are the most popular upgrade in the control arm category, correcting the geometry compromised by a suspension lift and restoring proper caster angle and ball joint centering. Adjustable upper control arms allow alignment angles like caster and camber to be dialed in precisely after a lift or lowering modification. Replacement lower control arms with polyurethane or solid aluminum bushings improve response and longevity compared to worn OEM rubber mounts. Why do I need new control arms after a lift kit?A suspension lift changes the angle at which the OEM upp...
