The SPL FLCA S550 Front Lower Control Arms provide roll center correction, camber adjustment, and track width adjustment for the 2015 to 2023 Ford Mustang S550, and deliver a complete kit that is 2.0 lbs lighter than the stock Performance Pack arms. Using a combination of 6061-T6 billet aluminum, 4130 Chromoly, 304 stainless steel, and Ti-6Al-4V titanium, the SPL FLCA S550 eliminates the rubber and polyurethane bushing compliance of the OEM arm that allows geometry to shift under braking and cornering. The exclusive Double Adjuster with 360-degree rotating clamps replaces traditional jam nuts for faster, more repeatable alignment adjustments. Stackable 304 stainless steel roll center spacers in 1/8 and 1/4 inch sizes allow precise roll center correction on lowered cars. FK PTFE-lined spherical bearings provide F1-specification self-cleaning and self-lubricating performance rated from -65 to 325 degrees F. The SPL FLCA S550 does not fit the Shelby GT350, GT350R, or GT500. Sold as a pair, made in the USA.

What geometry adjustments does the SPL FLCA S550 provide on the Ford Mustang?
The SPL FLCA S550 provides front roll center correction, camber adjustment, and track width adjustment on the 2015-2023 S550 Mustang. The OEM arms limit these corrections to minor eccentric bolt adjustments that frequently cannot return alignment to spec on lowered cars.
Does the SPL FLCA S550 fit the Shelby GT350 or GT500?
No. The SPL FLCA S550 does not fit the Shelby GT350, GT350R, or GT500 due to different front suspension geometry on those models. It is compatible with GT, GT Premium, EcoBoost, EcoBoost Premium, Bullitt, and Mach 1 variants.
How much weight does the SPL FLCA S550 save versus OEM?
The SPL FLCA S550 is approximately 2.0 lbs lighter per pair than the OEM Performance Pack arms, achieved through billet aluminum construction and titanium hardware.
Is the SPL FLCA S550 appropriate for daily street use on a lowered Mustang?
Yes. FK PTFE-lined spherical bearings are rated from -65 to 325 degrees F, self-lubricating, and self-cleaning. The SPL FLCA S550 is a practical alignment correction tool for any lowered S550 Mustang that needs proper front camber without eccentric bolt slippage.
Does installing the SPL FLCA S550 void my Ford Mustang warranty?
Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, Ford cannot void unrelated warranty coverage simply because an aftermarket part is installed. The dealer must demonstrate that the SPL FLCA S550 directly caused the claimed failure. Unrelated repairs remain covered.
What roll center spacers are included and how do I use them?
The SPL FLCA S550 includes stackable 304 stainless steel roll center spacers in 1/8 inch and 1/4 inch sizes. For stock-height Mustangs, install without spacers above the bearing. For lowered cars, add spacers above the bearing in 1/8 inch increments until roll center is corrected. Do not exceed 1/2 inch total above the bearing.
Does the SPL FLCA S550 include the light-leveling sensor bracket?
Yes. The SPL FLCA S550 includes brackets for OEM headlight leveling sensors on applicable trim levels. The bracket maintains proper headlight adjustment after installation.
Can the SPL FLCA S550 be used for autocross or track days?
Yes. The SPL FLCA S550 is widely used in Mustang autocross, HPDE, and road race applications. The locked rotating clamp design maintains alignment settings under repeated cornering loads. Inspect rod ends and fasteners after each track event.

Control arms are the key suspension linkages that connect the wheel hub and knuckle assembly to the vehicle frame, controlling wheel travel through both compression and droop cycles. Worn OEM control arms with loose ball joints or deteriorated bushings cause vague steering, tire wear, and handling inconsistency that only go away with replacement or upgrade.Popular UpgradesTubular steel upper control arms for lifted trucks and SUVs are the most popular upgrade in the control arm category, correcting the geometry compromised by a suspension lift and restoring proper caster angle and ball joint centering. Adjustable upper control arms allow alignment angles like caster and camber to be dialed in precisely after a lift or lowering modification. Replacement lower control arms with polyurethane or solid aluminum bushings improve response and longevity compared to worn OEM rubber mounts. Why do I need new control arms after a lift kit?A suspension lift changes the angle at which the OEM upp...
