Frequently Asked Questions
Is the 9930 a complete lift kit for my 2015-2018 Ford F-150 4WD?
No. The 9930 is a front component box that contains the front knuckle and bracket hardware for a Superlift 4.5-6 inch system. It must be combined with additional Superlift kit boxes (such as the rear component box and shocks) to create a complete system.
Does the 9930 fit the 2015-2018 Ford F-150 Raptor?
No. The 9930 is not compatible with Raptor models or Single Cab body styles. It fits SuperCab and SuperCrew configurations in King Ranch, Lariat, Limited, Platinum, SSV, XL, and XLT trims.
What wheel size is required when using the 9930 component box?
The 9930 is designed for 18-inch and larger wheels. It is not compatible with 17-inch factory wheels.
Will installing the 9930 void my Ford F-150 factory warranty?
Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a dealer must specifically prove that an aftermarket component caused a given failure in order to deny a warranty claim. Simply having a lift kit installed does not permit the dealer to void your entire powertrain warranty. Consult your dealer for specific warranty questions.
Does the 9930 require welding or drilling during installation?
No. The 9930 is a fully bolt-on component box. No welding, cutting, or drilling is required.
Does my 2015-2018 F-150 have a two-piece rear driveshaft?
Some 2015-2018 F-150 models equipped with certain cab and bed configurations have a two-piece rear driveshaft. If your truck has a two-piece rear driveshaft, you will need to order the additional Superlift kit box 9935 for carrier bearing shims.
What is the maximum tire size I can run after installing the 9930-based system?
Superlift rates this system for up to 35-inch x 12.5-inch tires with appropriate wheel offset.
Is a professional alignment required after installing the 9930?
Yes. A professional four-wheel alignment is required. The eccentric cam-bolts included with the 9930 allow for proper caster and camber correction during the alignment process.
