This SuperPro KIT304RK bushing kit replaces the rear leaf spring eye and shackle bushings on the 2009 to 2014 Ford F-150. It installs into the factory leaf spring and shackle locations and uses a proprietary polyurethane formula with replacement plated sleeves, so the rear axle stays located when the truck is towing, hauling or working off road.

This kit covers the rear leaf spring and shackle bushings only. It does not fit the 2015 and later F-150, and it does not include leaf springs, shackles or replacement mounting bolts.

What tools are needed for installation?A press or a suitable bushing removal tool is normally required to remove the original bushings from the spring eye and shackle, along with standard hand tools and a torque wrench.
Installation Instructions
- Park the truck on a level surface, chock the front wheels and support the rear of the vehicle safely on stands with the axle supported.
- Remove the rear wheels if additional access to the spring eye and shackle is required.
- Support the leaf spring with a jack so the spring does not drop when the fasteners are released.
- Remove the shackle and front spring eye fasteners and lower the spring far enough to expose the bushing bores.
- Press or drive the original bushings and steel sleeves out of the spring eye and shackle, then clean and inspect the bores for damage or ovality.
- Apply the supplied grease to the outer face of the new polyurethane bushings and to the plated sleeves.
- Press the new bushings into place, then fit the plated bushing and bolt sleeves so the bushing bore is fully supported.
- Reposition the leaf spring, refit the shackle and spring eye fasteners by hand and check that the KIT304RK bushings sit square in their mounts.
- Load the suspension back to normal ride height, then torque all fasteners to the Ford service specification.
- Refit the wheels, lower the vehicle and torque the wheel fasteners.
- Road test the truck, then recheck the fasteners and the bushing seating after the first short drive and again after towing or loaded use.
