Installation Instructions
- Lift the rear of the car until both wheels hang and set jack stands under the frame, not under the axle.
- Replace one control arm at a time with 18mm tools so the axle housing stays located.
- Coat the polyurethane bushing surfaces with grease, then fit each arm with its grease fittings pointing down and the bolts left loose.
- Unbolt the factory panhard bar using 18mm and 21mm tools and keep the OEM stepped bolts.
- Pre-lubricate the new bar's bushings and install it with the fittings angled toward the ground, hardware still loose.
- Move the jack stands under the rear axle so the suspension is loaded at ride height.
- Torque the four control arm bolts to 72 ft-lbs.
- Torque the panhard bar hardware to 60 ft-lb.
- Pump one to one and a half shots of non-lithium grease into each fitting and set the car back on the ground.
