2002-2004 Audi RS6 Sedan Vertical Door Kit - Special Order is the exact Vertical Doors vehicle-specific conversion kit shown in this listing. Confirm part number VDCAUDIRS60204, the complete application, body configuration, and current manufacturer notes before ordering.
Key Features
- Vertical Doors, Inc. builds the VDCAUDIRS60204 as a direct bolt-on assembly that mounts to the vehicle's factory bolt pattern, and the vehicle keeps its original doors and outer skins.
- The kit swaps the factory door hinges for hardened steel vertical hinges and gas shocks so the doors open outward and then lift vertically.
- Vertical Doors, Inc. builds this as a direct bolt-on kit that mounts to the factory bolt pattern, and the company specifically cautions that weld-on kits can damage a vehicle.
- Outward travel before the lift is specific to this application, and Vertical Doors, Inc. does not publish a single figure that covers every vehicle.
- The company machines its hinges from domestic hardened steel, holds United States patents on its designs, and prototypes each kit on the actual vehicle so the hardware lines up with the factory bolt pattern.
- No separate shock purchase is needed.
