Installation Instructions

1. Raise and support the vehicle, remove the front wheels, and disassemble the factory front brakes down to the bare spindles. Save the OEM spindle nuts and nut locks.
2. Verify wheel clearance using the Wilwood diagram and confirm the correct hub stud pattern, 5 on 4.50 or 5 on 4.75, for your wheels.
3. Press the wheel studs into the hub and torque to 77 ft-lb. Pack the inner bearing cone with high temperature grease and seat it in the back of the hub, then press the grease seal into place.
4. Attach the rotor to the flared bell hat with the supplied bolts, apply red threadlocker, and torque in an alternating sequence to 25 ft-lb. Then mount the rotor and hat assembly to the hub with red threadlocker and torque to 45 ft-lb.
5. Pack the outer bearing cone, slide the hub and rotor assembly onto the spindle, and secure with the spindle washer and OEM adjusting nut. Adjust the bearing preload per OEM specifications, install the lock and dust cap.
6. Mount the caliper to the spindle using the supplied bolts and washers. Center the rotor in the caliper using the included shims until the gap is equal on both sides, then fully torque the caliper bolts to spec.
7. Install the BP-10 brake pads and secure with the retaining pins and cotter pins.
8. Install a disc brake compatible master cylinder and proportioning valve if converting from drum, then add the Wilwood 220-7056 brake line kit, bleed the system thoroughly, and check for leaks before road testing.
