The XKGlow XKGMX-CUBE-S-KIT delivers a concentrated spot beam pattern designed for maximum distance penetration in off-road environments. Each kit includes two XKmax RGBW cube lights, a wireless Bluetooth controller, and all mounting hardware needed to get rolling. Powered by 20W high-output LED chips per cube and capable of drawing up to 30W white output, these pods give you pinpoint throw when you need to see what is far ahead on the trail. Sixteen million RGBW colors and 28-plus chasing theme sequences are controlled entirely from the XKmax Smartphone App on iOS or Android. A spot beam concentrates light into a narrow, intense cone that projects a long distance down the trail, making it ideal for high-speed off-road driving where you need to see obstacles far ahead. A flood beam spreads light across a wide area, which is better for slower technical terrain or when you need broad illumination around the vehicle.

No. The spot beam variant is designed for off-road use only and does not carry SAE or DOT certification for on-road driving. These lights must be turned off whenever the vehicle is operated on public roads. If you need on-road legal pods, look at the driving or fog beam variants in the XKmax cube series.

Download the XKmax Smartphone App from the Apple App Store or Google Play. The controller pairs over Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy, so no Wi-Fi or data connection is needed. From the app you can select any of the 16 million RGBW colors, run one of the 28-plus chasing themes, adjust brightness, and save custom patterns.

Because this kit uses universal mounting brackets, it can be installed on virtually any vehicle with a 12V electrical system, including trucks, Jeeps, UTVs, ATVs, buggies, and off-road SUVs. The brackets accommodate various mounting points such as bumper tabs, roof bars, A-pillars, and light bars.

The lights operate on 11 to 14V DC, which covers the typical range of a standard 12V vehicle electrical system whether gasoline, diesel, or battery electric. For diesel trucks with dual batteries or voltage spikes above 14V, a voltage stabilizer is recommended to protect the LED driver.

Each cube draws up to 30W at full white output. With two cubes running at maximum white brightness, total current draw is approximately 5A at 12V. The controller supports up to 5A per channel, so the system is operating within its rated capacity at full white output. RGBW backlight draw is lower.

Yes. The XKmax controller handles the white spot beam and the RGBW backlight independently, so you can run both simultaneously. You can dim or brighten each channel separately through the app, allowing you to mix bright white throw with a colored ambient halo effect around the housing.

XKGlow backs these lights with a 3-year manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty does not cover damage from improper installation, water intrusion caused by a breached seal, physical impact, or use outside the rated voltage range. Keep proof of purchase and contact XKGlow directly for warranty claims.

The included harness is sized for the kit's current draw. If you are extending the harness run more than 10 feet to reach the battery, use at minimum 14 AWG wire for runs up to 15 feet, or 12 AWG for longer runs, to prevent voltage drop that would reduce output brightness.

Installation Overview

1. Choose mounting locations on your bumper, roof rack, or A-pillar that provide a clear forward field of view.
2. Secure the universal mounting brackets to your chosen location using the supplied hardware.
3. Bolt each cube light to its bracket and aim the spot beam at the desired throw angle.
4. Route the wiring harness from the lights back to the battery, keeping wires away from heat sources and moving parts.
5. Connect the harness to the Bluetooth controller, then connect controller leads to a fused 12V power source and chassis ground.
6. Download the XKmax App, power on the vehicle, and pair the controller via Bluetooth 4.0 LE.
7. Select your preferred color, theme, or white output level from the app and verify both lights respond correctly.
8. Torque all mounting hardware to spec and zip-tie any loose wiring to prevent rattling on the trail.
