Installation Instructions

1. Raise and support the vehicle safely, then remove the wheel and tire assembly.
2. Remove the axle shaft retaining bolts and slide the full-floating axle shaft out of the hub.
3. Using a bearing puller, remove the old outer bearing from the spindle.
4. Press or drive out the inner bearing and axle seal from the hub assembly.
5. Clean all bearing surfaces and inspect the hub bore for damage or corrosion.
6. Press the new inner bearing and race from AK C11.5 into the hub to the proper depth.
7. Drive the new axle seal from AK C11.5 into the hub using a seal driver until flush.
8. Press the new outer bearing and race from AK C11.5 onto the spindle to the correct depth.
9. Reinstall the axle shaft and torque the retaining bolts to the manufacturer specification.
10. Reinstall the wheel and tire, lower the vehicle, and check differential fluid level.
