Installation Instructions
- Raise and support the front of the vehicle safely on jack stands and remove both front wheels.
- Remove the existing locking or free-wheeling hubs by extracting the face mounting screws.
- Clean the spindle threads and stub shaft splines, removing any old grease or debris.
- Confirm 30-spline count on the stub shaft before installing YHC70005 components.
- Thread and torque the spindle nut per your vehicle service manual specification.
- Install the inner body of the YHC70005 onto the stub shaft splines and seat fully.
- Secure the inner body with the included retaining snap ring or clip.
- Place the outer bezel assembly over the inner body and align the mounting holes.
- Install and torque the face retaining screws per specification.
- Repeat on the opposite wheel. Reinstall wheels and road-test in both 2WD and 4WD modes to confirm proper engagement and disengagement.
