How difficult is installation?

Is a gasket included?

What warranty covers YHC70004?

Installation Instructions

  1. Safely lift the front of the vehicle and support it securely on jack stands. Remove the front wheels.
  2. Remove the existing hub assembly by unthreading the retaining bolts from the hub cap face and pulling the hub body off the stub shaft.
  3. Inspect the stub shaft splines for wear or damage. Clean the splines and hub mounting face, removing any old sealant or gasket material.
  4. Confirm your stub shaft is 30-spline before proceeding. Count the splines if there is any doubt about prior axle modifications.
  5. Slide the YHC70004 hub body onto the 30-spline stub shaft, aligning the mounting bolt holes with the rotor hat.
  6. Thread and torque the mounting bolts to the specified torque (refer to the included instruction sheet for vehicle-specific values; typically 35-40 ft-lbs).
  7. Install the locking collar onto the hub body and verify smooth one-third turn engagement and disengagement.
  8. Reinstall the wheels and torque lug nuts to specification. Lower the vehicle.
  9. With the vehicle on level ground, engage 4WD and test both hubs for positive lock and unlock function before driving.
