Installation Instructions
- Raise and support the vehicle on jack stands. Drain differential fluid from the front diff housing.
- Disconnect the front driveshaft and support it out of the way.
- Remove front axle shafts as required for your specific vehicle configuration.
- Remove the differential cover and clean all gasket mating surfaces.
- Mark bearing caps and housing for correct reinstallation.
- Remove carrier bearing caps and extract the carrier assembly.
- Press off old carrier bearings and discard with races.
- Remove pinion nut and yoke, then drive out the pinion shaft from the housing.
- Press out old pinion bearings and remove the pinion seal.
