Yes. Ring gear bolts sized for the Ford 10.25-inch ring gear are included in the YK F10.25 kit along with thread locker for proper installation.

Installation Instructions

  1. Raise the vehicle and support it safely on jack stands before beginning differential service.
  2. Drain the differential gear oil completely into an approved container.
  3. Remove the driveshaft and disconnect the axle shafts from the differential carrier.
  4. Remove the differential cover and clean all mating surfaces of old gasket material.
  5. Mark carrier bearing caps for correct reinstallation orientation before removal.
  6. Remove the ring and pinion assembly along with the differential carrier.
  7. Press off old carrier bearings and pinion bearings using a suitable bearing press.
  8. Clean the differential housing and inspect for scoring, cracks, or wear before reassembly.
  9. Press on new Timken pinion bearings and races from the YK F10.25 kit.
  10. Set pinion depth using the included shim set and verify the gear contact pattern with marking compound and brush.
  11. Install the new crush sleeve and torque the pinion nut until the specified inch-pound preload is achieved.
  12. Press on new Timken carrier bearings and races, then set carrier backlash using the included carrier side shims.
  13. Install the new cover gasket and torque the cover bolts to specification. Refill with the correct Ford-spec gear oil and inspect for leaks before returning the vehicle to service.
