Installation Instructions

1. Drain differential fluid and remove differential cover to access the carrier and pinion assembly.
2. Remove the driveshaft, pinion nut, and yoke, then press out the old pinion and bearings.
3. Press the new Timken pinion bearings from PK C9.25-F onto the pinion shaft.
4. Install pinion depth shims from the PK C9.25-F shim kit to achieve the correct pinion depth measurement.
5. Install the new crush sleeve from PK C9.25-F into the differential housing.
6. Apply marking compound to the ring gear teeth and perform a pattern check by rotating the assembly.
7. Adjust shims as needed until the drive and coast gear patterns are centered on the ring gear face.
8. Install the new pinion seal from PK C9.25-F using a seal driver to the proper depth.
