Installation Instructions

1. Remove the front driveshaft from the differential pinion yoke.
2. Hold the pinion yoke with a flange holding tool and remove the pinion nut.
3. Remove the pinion yoke using a yoke puller; drive out the old pinion seal.
4. Tap the pinion shaft rearward to remove it; remove and discard the old crush sleeve.
5. Inspect the pinion bearings; replace if worn.
6. Select the correct shim from the SK CSJK-F kit to achieve the target rotating preload.
7. Install the solid sleeve eliminator and selected shim(s) onto the pinion shaft.
8. Drive in the new pinion seal and reassemble the pinion yoke.
