Installation Instructions

- Measure the required total shim thickness on each side using a dial indicator and preload gauge to achieve the specified carrier bearing preload.

- Install the selected shims and reinstall the carrier into the housing.
- Install the bearing caps hand-tight, then verify ring-gear backlash with a dial indicator at multiple points around the ring gear.
