LockSleeve Technology
The Turbosmart LockSleeve system replaces traditional welded turbo outlet connections with a screw-together ferrule assembly. Two precision-machined billet aluminum collar halves thread together around the compressor outlet, compressing an internal O-ring to form a boost-rated, leak-free seal. No heat, no welding, and no risk of heat distortion to your compressor cover or charge pipe. The result is a mechanically interlocked connection that holds rated boost pressure without the permanence or complexity of a weld.
The ferrule design distributes clamping load evenly around the full circumference of the outlet, preventing the localized stress points that can develop with traditional clamp-only setups. The internal O-ring provides a positive pressure seal independent of the outer clamping force, giving the system a secondary line of defense against boost leaks under sustained competition loads.

Compatibility
This adapter is designed for Turbosmart B Frame and C Frame turbocharger compressor covers only. It is not compatible with Precision Turbo, Garrett, or Borg Warner turbochargers. Do not attempt to fit this adapter to non-Turbosmart compressor covers.
The straight (0-degree) configuration routes the 2.50 inch outlet inline with the compressor cover face. This is well-suited for engine bays with sufficient linear clearance ahead of the turbo, and it is the more cost-effective configuration in the LockSleeve lineup. Both inlet and outlet ends measure 2.50 inches for a consistent bore through the adapter.
This adapter is designed for use with a Vibrant HD Clamp. The clamp is sold separately and is not included. Source a compatible Vibrant HD Clamp of the correct diameter before installation.
