What makes Turbosmart blow-off valves popular?

Turbosmart blow-off and bypass valves are popular for their dual-port design that allows the driver to configure the valve for full recirculation, atmospheric venting, or a combination of both. The dual-port design also allows upgrading from recirculating to atmospheric operation by simply swapping the vent port cap without purchasing a different valve. The Race Port series uses a larger valve body with improved flow capacity for high-boost applications where standard-size valves become a restriction.

Are Turbosmart wastegates compatible with OEM exhaust manifolds?

Turbosmart external wastegates are designed for use with custom or aftermarket exhaust manifolds fitted with a wastegate port and flange. They are not a direct bolt-on replacement for OEM internal wastegate systems without manifold modifications. Turbosmart's internal wastegate actuator replacements and adjustable actuator kits are compatible with factory turbocharged systems and provide a direct bolt-on path to higher base boost settings without custom fabrication.
