The AEM 30-0334 X-Series OBDII Wideband UEGO AFR Sensor Controller Gauge adds an OBDII cable to the proven AEM X-Series wideband platform, allowing the gauge to read and display live engine parameters from the vehicle's OBD2 port alongside wideband AFR data. The AEM 30-0334 uses a Bosch LSU 4.9 wideband UEGO sensor to read from 10:1 to 20:1 AFR and simultaneously monitors OBD2 channels such as RPM, coolant temperature, throttle position, and more, all from the same 52mm gauge face. Universal fitment works with any OBD2-compliant vehicle equipped with an available exhaust bung location.

AEM Performance Electronics has developed aftermarket performance electronics for over 30 years from their Hawthorne, California headquarters. AEM produces wideband controllers, standalone ECUs, boost gauges, and data acquisition systems trusted by professional race teams and performance enthusiasts worldwide. The X-Series gauge line represents AEM's latest generation of X-Digital display technology for fast, high-accuracy sensor monitoring.
The AEM 30-0334 adds an OBDII cable to the standard 30-0300 X-Series wideband gauge platform. This lets the 30-0334 read and display live OBD2 engine parameters like RPM, coolant temperature, and throttle position directly on the gauge, alongside wideband AFR data, without a separate diagnostic scanner.
What OBD2 parameters can the 30-0334 display? The AEM 30-0334 can display standard OBD2 PID channels including RPM, vehicle speed, coolant temperature, throttle position, and other parameters supported by the vehicle's ECU over the standard OBD2 protocol.
Does the AEM 30-0334 still read wideband AFR?Yes. The core function of the AEM 30-0334 is identical to the 30-0300: it reads wideband AFR from 10:1 to 20:1 using the included Bosch LSU 4.9 UEGO sensor. The OBDII capability is an added feature layered on top of the wideband controller.
Does 30-0334 have an analog output for data logging?Yes. The AEM 30-0334 includes a 0-5V analog output for connection to external dataloggers, standalone ECUs, or piggyback controllers that accept a wideband voltage signal.
What vehicles is the AEM 30-0334 compatible with? The AEM 30-0334 is a universal wideband gauge and is compatible with any vehicle that has an OBD2 port (all US-market vehicles 1996 and newer) and an available exhaust location for the wideband sensor bung. It works with gasoline, E85, methanol, and similar fuel types.
Is the Bosch LSU 4.9 sensor included with the 30-0334?Yes. The Bosch LSU 4.9 wideband UEGO sensor is included in the AEM 30-0334 kit along with the OBDII cable, wiring harnesses, gauge bezel, faceplate, and O2 bung.
Does the 30-0334 require California Prop 65 disclosure? No. The AEM 30-0334 does not carry a Prop 65 warning requirement based on available product documentation.
Can the AEM 30-0334 be used on a turbocharged or supercharged build?Yes. The AEM 30-0334 is fully compatible with forced induction applications. The Bosch LSU 4.9 sensor reads accurately across the full 10:1-20:1 AFR range applicable to both naturally aspirated and boosted gasoline and E85 builds.

Aftermarket performance gauges give drivers accurate, real-time information about critical engine and drivetrain parameters that factory instrument clusters either omit or display too imprecisely for performance or modified vehicle use. Oil pressure, coolant temperature, boost pressure, exhaust gas temperature, transmission temperature, and wideband air-fuel ratio are the most important parameters that performance gauges monitor, each providing specific early warning data that protects expensive drivetrain components from damage. The difference between catching an oil pressure drop before engine failure and finding out about it afterward often comes down to having accurate gauges in visible positions. Modern analog and digital gauges from brands like Autometer, Glowshift, Speedhut, and AEM are brighter, more accurate, and more reliable than ever before, making an aftermarket gauge installation a practical investment for any modified vehicle. Performance gauges and gauge pods form a complete driver information system for any modified or performance vehicle, combining accurate instrument measurement with a mounting solution that keeps critical engine data visible without cluttering the interior. Gauge kits that bundle the gauge head with a compatible pod create a finished, coordinated installation that looks intentional rather than improvised. Whether monitoring boost on a turbocharged build, oil pressure on a high-revving naturally aspirated engine, or exhaust gas temperature on a diesel truck that tows near its limit, the combination of a quality gauge and a proper pod mount is the correct approach. Both A-pillar and dash pod solutions are available for the most popular domestic and import performance vehicles. Popular Upgrades Autometer Sport-Comp and Ultra-Lite gauge and pod bundles for the Mustang, Camaro, WRX/STI, and F-150 are the most popular combination purchases, providing a matched gauge and vehicle-specific A-...
