Installation Instructions
- Confirm Aeromotive part number 18665, the complete system design, fuel or fluid type, and all required supporting components.
- Relieve system pressure, disconnect electrical power, work in a ventilated area, and eliminate ignition sources before opening any fuel connection.
- Install with the exact port sizes, seals, mounting orientation, line support, filtration, wiring, and torque values in Aeromotive's current instructions.
- Prime and pressure-test the complete system; inspect every joint, seal, vent, and electrical connection for leaks, heat, abrasion, and voltage drop.
- Verify stable pressure and safe operation under load, then recheck fittings and mounting after the initial heat cycles.

Shop fuel pumps, pressure regulators, filters, tanks, rails, fittings, wiring, controllers, and service parts by exact manufacturer part number and verified system requirements. Choose by System Requirements Start with target power, fuel type, base pressure, boost pressure, required flow at operating pressure, system voltage, and expected duty cycle. Then verify whether the vehicle uses an EFI or carbureted system, return or returnless plumbing, in-tank or external mounting, and the correct filtration strategy. Do not size a pump from a free-flow rating or horsepower label alone. Fuel Pumps and Controllers Aeromotive offers in-tank, external, mechanical, brushless, and spur-gear pump configurations. Confirm the pump's current flow data at the pressure your engine will actually use. Plan wire gauge, fuse, relay or controller, grounds, filters, line sizes, t...
