What flow rate do I need for my power level?

As a general rule, EFI systems need approximately 10 pounds of fuel flow per 100 horsepower. A 340 LPH pump supports roughly 700 horsepower on gasoline, while the higher-flowing 450 and 500 LPH pumps support builds pushing 900-1,000+ horsepower. Ethanol builds require higher flow due to the fuel's lower energy density.

Are Aeromotive fuel systems compatible with ethanol (E85)?
