Is this a complete fuel system?
No. The tank, pump, sender and bulkhead are preassembled, but external regulation, post-filtration, plumbing and electrical installation are still required.
Does the 200 or 340 designation equal every operating flow?
No. This 340 version has an exact-manual test point of 340 LPH at 40 psi and 13.5 V. Flow depends on pressure, voltage and installation; a horsepower headline is not a delivered-flow guarantee.
Can the pump run continuously at its maximum pressure?
No. The exact manual's 105 psi dead-head maximum is distinct from its 3–65 psi continuous operating range.
Can I use an ordinary carburetor bypass regulator?
The manual says the AN-06 return arrangement cannot reduce pressure below 10 psi with an ordinary single-stage bypass regulator. It requires a dual-stage bypass/dead-head regulator such as the 13220 for carbureted service.
Does the tank support E85?
The exact tank manual expressly lists E85/ethanol as well as gasoline. Use E85-compatible lines, seals, regulator and filter media; the manual does not allow methanol in Gen II tanks. Unverified additive blends are not blanket-approved.
Will the included sender operate any fuel gauge?
No. Its 0–90 ohm range must match the gauge and wiring. The manual requires the supplied tank-to-chassis ground connection for correct sender operation.
Are mounting straps and external wiring included?
The current specification says mounting straps and mounting hardware are not included. A complete relay/fuse wiring kit, external fuel lines, fittings, regulator and post-filter are not promised by this tank assembly.

Installation Instructions
Use the exact 18457 manual and vehicle service procedures. Relieve pressure, disconnect power and support the vehicle safely before draining or removing the old tank. Fit the new assembly and connect its included tank-ground wire to a clean chassis ground so the sender works correctly.
Use properly sized AN-06 supply and return lines and a fuel-compatible high-flow post-filter. The exact manual describes male AN-06 flare outlets, while the current product specification lists female ORB-06 ports. Confirm the actual bulkhead and supplied adapters: AN flare and ORB O-ring interfaces seal differently, and matching nominal size does not make them interchangeable. Neither is a tapered pipe-thread connection. The manual's gasoline post-filter examples must not be treated as E85-compatible media; it separately names the 12345 for E85. Mount filtration and the high-flow return regulator away from heat, moving parts and abrasion. Corvette-style combined filter/regulators are specifically not recommended for this pump volume.
For carbureted use, follow the required dual-stage regulator arrangement rather than an ordinary single-stage bypass regulator. For EFI, select a regulator capable of returning the pump's full excess volume. Verify the whole circuit at the intended operating pressure.
The manual's recommendations specify 10-gauge pump wiring and a relay of at least 20 A, while its installation steps describe 12-gauge-or-larger copper, a 30–40 A relay and a 20 A fuse/breaker. These differing wire/relay statements require confirmation for the actual circuit; do not select undersized wiring or omit the fuse and relay. This is a brushed pump assembly, not an included electronic speed controller or an approval to connect an arbitrary OEM PWM power circuit.
Follow the exact tank's vent provisions and vehicle layout. The manual requires a vented cap when ventilation is through the cap only; do not assume a sealed cap works or borrow an earlier tank's cap part number.
Connect and secure vents as instructed, check sender/gauge operation, prime and inspect every fuel connection for leaks. Confirm pressure and voltage before driving. The manufacturer limits emissions-controlled-vehicle sale/use to a direct replacement matching OEM specifications; tank fitment alone does not establish that legal exception.
