Installation Overview
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal and allow the engine to cool completely
- Remove the factory airbox cover, air filter, and intake tube assembly
- Disconnect the MAF sensor connector and any crankcase ventilation hoses
- Remove factory airbox mounting hardware and set aside
- Install the aFe intake tube using the supplied clamps and brackets
- Reconnect the MAF sensor and all crankcase vent hoses to the new tube
- Seat the new Pro DRY S filter onto the intake tube and secure with the clamp
- Install the heat shield if included, routing away from hot engine components
- Reconnect the battery and start the engine to confirm normal operation
