Installation Instructions

1. Read the exact manufacturer instructions for 46-20129-1, verify the actual engine, supplied parts and every unresolved source conflict before disassembly.
2. Confirm the exact suffix-specific kit and 3.5L EcoBoost connections, allow the vehicle to cool and retain the original vent tube, sensor and lower protection.
3. Release the vent-tube retaining clip and remove that connection. Unplug the original sensor harness and remove the sensor for reuse. Loosen the throttle-body band clamp and release the upper tube connection.

8. Before tightening the lower T-bolt pair, push the hump coupling fully onto the intercooler and seat the tube fully into the hump coupling. Tighten the lower clamps securely as directed and restore the flexible splash shield.
